The Amadeo Decanter is a celebrated icon of functional art, introduced in 2006 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of RIEDEL and named in honor of Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was also celebrated that year. Expertly hand-blown into an elegant lyre-inspired silhouette, the decanter combines striking design with exceptional functionality. Wine is poured into the wider opening and served effortlessly through the slender spout, creating a graceful and refined decanting experience.

This edition features a beautiful mint green crystal accent, created by introducing a rod of mint green crystal into the molten glass before the decanter is formed. The subtle color adds a distinctive artistic touch while preserving the brilliance and clarity of the fine crystal.

Designed to hold a single standard bottle of wine (750 ml), the Amadeo Decanter enhances both young and mature wines by promoting optimal aeration or separating sediment, allowing aromas and flavors to develop beautifully. Each decanter is handmade by skilled master glassmakers, making every piece unique. Slight variations in size, weight, tiny bubbles, or subtle surface imperfections are natural characteristics of its artisanal production and reflect the authenticity of handcrafted crystal.

This decanter is hand wash only. Due to its unique internal shape, the RIEDEL Bottle Cleaner should not be used, as the cleaning beads may become lodged inside.
